Cyrte Founder Frank Botman on the impact of technology

Naarden, February 16, 2012 - In February 2012 Cyrte founder and CEO Frank Botman discussed the Cyrte vision on the impact of technology on consumer behavior and the possible consequences for mass media and media investments.

Mr. Botman presented the Cyrte case at the MWG conference for communication professionals and in Adformatie, a Dutch magazine targeted at the marketing and communication community. 

In the article and presentation Botman gives his opinion on the current economic circumstances. He describes how Cyrte’s investment strategy is based on shifts in consumer expenditures and how changing consumer behavior could impact the media and media investments. Botman believes that we will see more consolidation in the media industry and that in the future content and e-commerce will be more closely aligned.
